Poached apple with cinnamon and whipped cream
This has been my go to dessert as of late. It's relatively healthy compared to most desserts which is nice, especially around the holiday season! You can poach either an apple or pear.
Here is how to make it..
Poach an apple or pear in either 1/4 cup wine (I used any white wine we had opened) or water, let simmer for 5-10 minutes.
Next, you can add any spices you would like but I used cinnamon and topped it with whipped cream.
